Simple Farming - our meats

All our meats are traditionally reared from breeds selected to thrive in the natural environment.

We work with highly skilled local butchers to prepare all our joints and cuts. Beef hanging times are tailored to the individual animal to maximise flavour, whilst gammon and bacon are properly, slowly dry cured and our sausages are made purely from pork and a little seasoning.

Grass-fed Lamb

Our free range lambs are born outside and graze the summer grass. We allow them to mature at their own pace on a natural diet which gives the meat a deep, rich flavour. Lamb is available in whole and half boxes (joints, chops, and mince) or as specific cuts, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Native Breed Pork

All our pork joints, bacon and sausages come from slow-maturing heritage breeds which have a wonderful depth of flavour. We offer pork joints, bacon, gammon and Cumberland sausage, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Dexter Beef

Our free range native Dexter cattle are free to roam year-round. The slow-matured, tender, marbled beef will melt in your mouth. We work with our butchers to produce the very best steaks, cuts and joints. We can deliver single items or variety boxes – just contact us to discuss your individual order.

Delivery

We ship using specialist packaging to keep our produce cool and fresh. All products are sent by courier for next day delivery.

Our traditional farming methods mean our produce is seasonal so availability may vary. We’re happy to discuss this with you, so please contact us.

Farming Standards

Red Tractor: We are red tractor farm assured. This is an official certification of the fact animal welfare is at the heart of what we do. We have regular inspections to ensure all our farming practices meet with these high standards.
